Murray Banks Murray Banks has been a national performer, trainer and entertainer to audiences for over 24 years. Focusing on lifestyle and its impact on leadership and work performance, his presentations include a mix of humorous visuals and practical examples on keeping our lives in balance so we can work well under pressure. An honored educator and World Champion athlete, Murray shares stories of his high altitude mountaineering and world championship racing, while integrating practical skills for maintaining optimism and staying balanced and focused when the pressure is on. With a passion for teaching and coaching, Murray has been honored as Vermont's Teacher of the Year and received recognition at the National Outstanding Educator Awards. While teaching, Murray won his first of four triathlon national championships. In 1984, Murray took a sabbatical from teaching to pursue an advanced degree in Education Leadership, write a textbook and focus on training for the Ironman Triathlon World Championship in Hawaii. Two times, he as been a top finisher in the Triathlon World Championship and recently, Murray won the Masters World Champion in cross-country skiing. Adapting to Change: How to Succeed at Balancing Work and Life during Challenging Times In a world of change, most individuals crave stability and consistency. However with the current economic environment, most of us are just trying to keep our head above the rising water. During this presentation, you will learn how your own personal skills can be used to remain agile when asked to do more with less and how to remain resilient through times of change.
